TechVest charges fees for services, but will also consider equity
options and/or for a 50/50 combination of the two when cash
constraints exist. Below are some typical fees charged in past
projects, with travel expenses additional, as necessary:
Daily Consulting Rate for Principals: $2,000-2,500 per day
Daily Consulting Rate in min. 10-day Monthly Retainers: $1,000
Full Strategy Analysis & Business Plan Rewrite on-site: $5,000
Venture Funding Workshop on-site: $5,000 and up
Marketing Strategy Workshop on-site: $5,000 and up
Board Role for TechVest Principals: 1% Venture Equity
Minimum Monthly Retainer: $10,000 per Month
Funding Finder $1-$3 million: 7% all expenses included
Funding Finder $3 million and up: 5% all expenses included
Funding Finder $10 million and up: 3% all expenses included
Due Diligence Examination Start-to-Finish (2 weeks): $10,000
Create International Distribution Network: $10,000 per month
Manage International Marketing Subsidiary: $10,000 per month
Turnaround Management Roles (Principal FT): $20,000 per month
Acquisitions Search: $5,000 per month plus 5% of purchase price
Divestiture Search: $10,000 per month plus 8-7-6-5% of sales price
