Audit Committee Consulting for Public and Private Companies

TechVest advises and in some cases implements appropriate levels of accountability, controls, and procedures. Under the new Sarbanes-Oxley Regulations, CEOs and CFOs of publicly traded companies are required to attest to the accuracy of a company's financial condition. Boards also must have better accountability and financial qualifications. CFO's and even CIO's, responsible for significant budgets and financial controls, have to adjust their policies and depth of effort. In addition, the act, which is aimed at giving investors more complete and accurate assessments of the financial condition of public companies, requires businesses to disclose "all material off-balance-sheet transactions" that may affect capital expenditures or other aspects of their finances. We can guide this new process and assist directly in providing the audit committee experience that the regulations demand.
